Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery and reliably заизолируйте I will corrode wires (fig. 8.47).

ATTENTION
Before the beginning of works after a detachment of a cable of the storage battery make a pause not less than 30 pages.

Remove lateral covers of a steering wheel. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the module of a safety cushion (an internal shestigrannik) (fig. 8.48).
Disconnect the socket of an hour spring from the pillow module, having pulled for a socket clamp outside (fig. 8.49).

ATTENTION
At a detachment of the socket do not apply considerable efforts.

Remove the module of a safety cushion of the driver (fig. 8.50).
Unscrew a nut of fastening and by means of a stripper (09561-11002) dismantle a steering wheel (fig. 8.51).

ATTENTION
Do not remove a steering wheel in the shock way: it is possible to damage the mechanism of folding of a column at collision.
|
Module check
If as a result of check any defective detail is found, replace the safety cushion module with the new.
The old safety cushion is subject to blasting on special procedure.

ATTENTION
Never try to measure resistance of an electrofuse of a pillow, even by means of a special tester: sudden blasting a pillow which will lead to accident is possible.
|
Check an overlay of the module of a pillow (a hollow, cracks, deformation).
Check the case of the module of a pillow (a hollow, cracks, deformation).
Check a socket condition (deformation of contacts, clamps, twisting of wires).
Check the inflatable module of a pillow (a hollow, cracks, deformation).
Establish the pillow module on a steering wheel for verification of the relative provision of a pillow and a steering wheel.
Check of an hour spring
If as a result of check any defective detail is found, replace an hour spring with the new.
Check a socket condition (deformation of contacts, clamps) and a protective tube.
